COURSES

 

All Couleurlive Stained Glass Courses can be booked through the Couleurlive online shop www.couleurlive.com/shop, or by contacting Couleurlive directly by email info@couleurlive.com or through the Couleurlive website contact page www.couleurlive.com/contact. Courses take place in Studio 4 English Bridge Workshop, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 6AD.

 

The description of the course as found on the Couleurlive website www.couleurlive.com/courses and in further emails is the product that the customer agrees to receive upon booking that course.

 

FEES & PAYMENT

 

Upon booking we require a full payment of £150 (inclusive of a £50 non refundable deposit). Your payment will be taken as your acceptance of these terms and conditions and will constitute a contract between yourself and Couleurlive.

 

The course fee covers professional tuition, use of the studio and equipment, all materials, protective clothing and the cost of postage to send completed work in the event that collection is not possible. The fee does not cover transport to and from the course or accommodation.

 

You may pay in cash, by cheque or by BACS. You may also pay by credit or debit card, by Paypal online if you booked through the www.couleurlive.com/shop

DISCOUNTS/VOUCHERS

 

If you have a discount voucher for a Couleurlive course please make this known at the time of booking your place on the course. Please note that the voucher is only valid for use by the person it was allocated to, only one discount can be claimed per course.

 

If you have a voucher from Craft Courses please make this known at the time of booking your place on the course and provide us with your full name and voucher code.

 

If you have a voucher issued by Couleurlive the refund & cancellation Terms & Conditions can be found further down this document.

If your voucher was issued by Craft Courses the voucher Terms & Conditions can be found on their website www.craftcourses.com.

 

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

 

Couleurlive reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses if the circumstances dictate. If we cancel your course you will be offered an alternative or a full refund (inclusive of £50 deposit).

If you cancel more than 21 days before the start of the course, your fee will be refunded (less the £50 deposit). If you cancel your place less than 21 days before the start of the course, your fee will not normally be refundable. Non-attendance of the course due to illness or personal circumstances does not provide the right to a refund or credit. However, in exceptional circumstances we may be able to offer a full or partial refund. In this instance, we request that you outline the circumstances in writing to us by email at info@couleurlive.com.

 

Refunds do not apply when your course is cancelled as a result of natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, criminal/terrorist activity and similar events beyond our control.

 

If the course is cancelled or you cannot attend due to health circumstances relating to Covid-19 or Government imposed restrictions either national or based on the UK three-tier Alert levels – in Shrewsbury or in your area – all deposits and payments for courses purchased directly through Couleurlive or through Support Shrewsbury will be valid for attendance on a later course.

 

Courses bought as gifts are subject to the same cancellation policy.

 

FOOD, DRINK & SMOKING

 

Food and drink is not provided by Couleurlive. Food and drink consumption is only permitted outside the English Bridge Workshop building unless permission is obtained from Couleurlive beforehand. Food and drink consumption outside of the English Bridge Workshop building is not the responsibility of Couleurlive.

 

Smoking is not allowed in any of the studio facilities, the building or courtyards.

 

PARTICIPANTS WITH DISABILITIES

 

Couleurlive welcomes participants with disabilities. If you have a disability, please let us know in detail before booking the course so that we are able to assess how suitable our facilities and the course itself would be for you.

 

The English Bridge Workshop building and Couleurlive studio do not currently have toilet facilities for wheelchair access.

 

LIABILITY

 

Couleurlive and the English Bridge Workshop – in which the studio is located – accept no responsibility for any accidents or damages that occur during a course at the fault of the furnishings, materials or any other items belonging to or on loan from the English Bridge Workshop.

 

Couleurlive and the English Bridge Workshop shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury or inconvenience by reason of any defects in the structure of the property, plumbing, electrical systems, gas, water or failures in the supply of utilities for either the studio or the English Bridge Workshop facilities.

 

The English Bridge Workshop shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury or inconvenience suffered by Couleurlive and course participants. Should any incidents arise within the studio it will be the responsibility of Couleurlive to resolve it with the English Bridge Workshop and participant.

 

For any loss or damage to the studio or English Bridge Workshop facilities caused by course participants, the cost of repair or replacement will be paid by the participant to the owner(s) of the building and/or studio facility.

 

The safety and welfare of children is the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian.

 

Couleurlive is covered by: Public & Products Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance for Artist & Student members of The Artists Information Company.

 

REMOVAL

 

Couleurlive reserves the right to remove any disruptive participant from the course without refund. Couleurlive reserves the right to remove any participant who does not follow the Covid-19 commitments outlined below.

 

COVID-19 CIRCUMSTANCES AND COMMITMENTS

 

Nathalie Hildegarde Liege (Course Leader) is listed by her General Practitioner as a Covid-19 high risk person; therefore, you must take care to follow all safety requirements while inside the Couleurlive studio.

 

In order to support NHS Test and Trace, you must write your name and phone number in the book located at the entrance of the English Bridge Workshop building.

 

While inside the English Bridge Workshop building, you will take particular care to ensure that social distancing is maintained for any persons aged 70 or over or people likely to be clinically more vulnerable to Covid-19, including but not limited to: ensuring your mask covers your nose and mouth at all times; maintaining a minimum of 1 metre distance from them when going in and out of rooms ensuring they can access the toilets, kitchen or other confined areas with low risk.

 

All participants must only wear the disposable masks and gloves provided by Couleurlive. All participants must use a new mask and gloves after each break taken outside the studio or the English Bridge Workshop building.

 

All surfaces and spaces allocated to each participant will be sanitised prior to and after the course. Please only use the space and tools you are allocated for the entire length of the course and follow all instructions on maintaining the safety of others. Nathalie Hildegarde Liege and all participants will have separate allocated spaces in line with Government guidance and NHS advice.

 

To ensure the floor space remains clear and in line with social distancing measures, participants will be provided with a sanitised 30x20cm container to place small personal items that they may need access to throughout the course. Any other large items such as coats or bags must be left in their vehicle or placed in a disposable bag to be kept in the studio and provided by Couleurlive if they have not come by car.

 

Participants must not attend the course if they or anyone in their household has experienced Covid-19 symptoms in the 7 days prior to the course. If participants or anyone in their household develop symptoms within 7 days of the participant attending the course they must use the NHS Test and Trace system to alert others with whom they have been in contact including the Couleurlive studio.

 

You will be responsible for following instructions given to you regarding the disposal of rubbish, including tissues and cleaning cloths. All rubbish must be disposed of in the bin provided and not placed on surrounding surfaces in the studio.

 

Food and drink will not be provided by Couleurlive and any food and drink consumed must be done outside the English Bridge Workshop building.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

We will use the personal information that you provide to Couleurlive:

To administer and provide our courses to you;

To process payment in relation to any enrolment;

To inform you about similar courses and events, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.

 

We will not give your personal data to any third party.

You have the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

 

DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALS

 

Couleurlive reserves the right to use images and film made during the courses for marketing and promotion. Images or film containing persons participating in a course will not be distributed unless consent has been obtained by the participant or by guardians of the participants.

 

COMPLAINTS AND FEEDBACK

 

To ensure that we offer the best possible service, we ask participants to provide a review of the course. Feedback will be used to improve, where possible, the courses and services we provide. Complaints regarding any of our services will be handled by Couleurlive, all complaints are taken seriously and will have a course of action to meet the complaint adequately. Couleurlive reserves the right to use any feedback given in their marketing, promotions and documentation materials.

The description of the item as found on the Products page and in any further written correspondence is the item that the customer agrees to receive upon making a payment. Your payment will be taken as your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

 

PAYMENT & REFUNDS

 

All payments must be made through Support Shrewsbury in line with their terms & conditions. 

 

In the event an item is faulty or damaged or does not reasonably match the description, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt and we will arrange for a replacement or refund. In these circumstances, you may be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. If you return an item to us for any other reason, we will examine the returned item and will notify you of any applicable refund right within a reasonable period of time. We will process refunds as soon as possible. Items will be your responsibility from the time of delivery. Therefore, if the packaging is damaged at the time of delivery, please check the package in the presence of the carrier in order to verify the condition of the item. 

 

Products bought as gifts are subject to the same refund policy.

COULEURLIVE ONLINE MENTORING - TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

All online mentoring sessions will take place on the video conferencing application ‘Zoom’; you will need to download the application to a tablet or computer. If you are not familiar with Zoom it is a video conferencing application available on computers, tablets and smart phones. As well as being able to communicate through live video, chat and audio it allows you to share screens, send documents, record the session and watch back and includes a whiteboard feature that allows you to draw free hand or annotate documents on another meeting participants’ screen. If you change your mind within 7 days of payment you may request a full refund, if you cancel more than 7 days after payment you will not normally be refunded. If you are unable to make the agreed date or time of the session due to illness or personal circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange to reschedule. This does not provide the right to a refund, however, in exceptional circumstances we may be able to offer a full or partial refund. In this instance, we request that you outline the circumstances in writing to us.
